Reporting Missed/Unfiltered Spam

In the event that you receive a message that was not properly tagged as spam by the Email Filtering system, you can report the message so that NETDOOR can attempt to find out why the message was not properly tagged.

To report a missed spam message you can simply forward the message to false-negative@netdoor.com as long as it meets the following criteria:

  1. NETDOOR receives the missed Spam within 24 hours from when it was received into your email account. Stale Spam is not very helpful.
  2. The Spam is sent to NETDOOR as an RFC-822 MIME encoded attachment.
  3. The message is NOT a legitimate message.

Missed spam messages sent to any NETDOOR email address other than false-negative@netdoor.com or messages sent that do not meet the above requirements will not be examined and immediately discarded.

After you have sent the message there is nothing more you need to do. You will not receive any type of confirmation. You may also be requested to send "Full Headers" of a message should you contact support.
