Rejected Password

I was able to enter my password. Then while my messages were downloading, it just stalled. So I closed everything. Now, when I try to sign on, it keeps prompting for my username/password.

Most mail programs will lock up trying to receive large binary attachments. A POP LOCK occurs when you are checking your mail and either

1. cancel while a large file is downloading
2. your mail program "times out" while trying to download the file.
   

Our mail server thinks you are still on the other end receiving the mail so it tells you "unable to lock maildrop" and repeatedly prompts you to re-enter your password. It usually takes between 10-15 minutes to allow the server to reset the connection and then it will allow you to access your mail once again.
