"Stuck" Email

I have tried several times lately to get our e-mail and it seems to get stuck. At this point I have 17 letters trying to come over to us. The screen will say 1 of 17 and seems to stop. I hit receive mail and let the computer sit for 3 minutes. I thought that it does not take that long to download e-mail info.

This occurs when there is a fairly large email message queued in your email account. Because email was never designed to handle large files, getting the message will take a few minutes. However, if your mail program "times out" while trying to download the file, give our Technical Support Department a call. Deleting the message would be the only option.
