Common Errors or Problems
Error reported by winsock driver: Host name not found (Error 11001)

The information in this article applies to Free Agent running on any platform.

Cause
  1. You are not connected to the Internet.
    Make sure you are connected to NETDOOR before trying to view newsgroups.
  2. You don't have to correct news server setup.
Resolution
  1. Open Agent
  2. Click Options at the top.
  3. Click General Preferences from the menu.
  4. Click the System tab.
  5. Make sure News Server is set to news.netdoor.com.
