Error Getting Network Address
Cause: host not found (11001)
The information in this article applies to:
- Eudora Light and Eudora Pro running on Windows 95, 98, and NT 4.0.
CAUSES
- Not currently connected to the Internet
- Incorrect server name for POP Account
- Incorrect server name for SMTP
RESOLUTION
Method 1
Connect to the Internet
Method 2
- Click on TOOLS
- Click on OPTIONS
- On the icon bar to the left click on GETTING STARTED
- Make sure POP Account is in the form of username@mail.netdoor.com
- On the icon bar to the left click on HOSTS
- Make sure SMTP reads mail.netdoor.com
- Click OK, close Eudora and restart it
