Configuration of Win9x Dial-Up Networking

If you are running Windows 95/98 and are having problems with frequent disconnects or slow connect rates, we recommend you download and install the newest version of Microsoft's Dial-Up Networking (DUN).

The following pages contain image maps of what your Dial-Up Networking should look similar to when it is properly configured to use Netdoor's analog dial-in service. You can click on each image as if you were looking at your own Dial-Up Networking settings. In this way you can check each tab plus the TCP/IP settings.

To get to where these image maps start:

  1. Double-click on My Computer
  2. Double-click on Dial-Up Networking
  3. Right click on the Netdoor connection icon
  4. Click Properties
  5. You can now look at how a properly configured dial-up connection to Netdoor should look.
